YMCA Santa Run December 1, 2012
The 5k Run/Walk begins at Noon in front of the YMCA at the corner of Third Street and Chavez.  The 1 Mile Run/Walk will start shortly after the 5K event.  Both events are family-friendly- children, strollers, and well-mannered dogs on leashes are welcome.

Parking

Parking is available in several locations around the downtown area. The YMCA has two parking lots available, one adjacent to our building on Third and Chavez and one directly across from our building. These lots will mostly fill early, so please plan accordingly.

UofM Parking Lot (Old International Academy building) – this lot is located directly behind the YMCA Building at Stevens and 2nd Street. The lot can be accessed from 2nd Street or 1st Street and is approximately 1 block from the start line. 80 Spots Available.

GCard Building (719 Harrison St, Flint, MI 48502-1613) –there is a large parking lot behind the GCARD building on Harrison Street. It’s approximately two blocks from the start line at the YMCA (.15 miles). 100 Spots Available

Flint Journal Building (200 East 1st Street, Flint, MI) – there is a large parking lot adjacent to the Flint Journal Building. The lot can be accessed off of 2nd Street and is at the intersection of Harrison and 2nd Street. It’s approximately 2.25 blocks from the start line at the YMCA (.20 miles). 120 Spots Available.

Plaza One (Chase Bank/Plante & Moran) Parking Lot- there is an entire block of parking located across from the Plaza One building. The lot can be accessed from 4th Street and the cross streets are Harrison, 4th Street, Court Street, and Wallenberg. It’s approximately 2.5 blocks from the start line at the YMCA (.25 miles). 200 Spots Available.

Additional parking spaces are found scattered on the streets throughout the downtown area.
