If you are looking for a fun, exciting and safe place to spend your summer, then look no further than the Summer Fun Program. Participants will spend their day enjoying structured games, activities, creative projects, swimming, and learning new skills. Participants will also venture off on exciting field trips each week to places like Impression 5 Science Museum, Waterford Water Park, a Lansing Lugnuts baseball game, local parks, and other exciting destinations.
Each week of the program has a different theme, making every week a new experience for participants. All aspects of the program emphasize the YMCA Character Development Program focusing on respect, responsibility, honesty, and caring. Children will be placed in a positive environment and will participate in age-appropriate activities throughout the day.
Each participant will need to bring a lunch, swimsuit, towel, and tennis shoes daily. Sunscreen and a water bottle are also strongly encouraged. A nutritious snack will be provided.
